Religious Liberty
The freedom to believe in God and preach His word are still curtailed by the state in post-communist Bulgaria

Religious liberty is often wrongly viewed as a political cause rather than a Christian ministry. Yet if taken with the right attitude the cause of religious liberty can actually help in reaching people with the values of Christian freedom and the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The purpose of this helping ministry is to promote freedom of religion for the missional church in post-communist society.

This work entails maintaining a web site with relevant religious freedom information and analysis on issues of religious liberty, freedom of speech and freedom of conscience in Bulgaria.  Freedom for All is our online edition for dialogue on religious liberty in the nation. Viktor is the editor of the online magazine. We publish four issues a year. He also writes reports and articles on the religious laws in Bulgaria and on the proper view of church-state relations.

Our vision is to translate the web site in English and make it a forum that reaches other nations in the Eastern European region where religious freedom is absent as is the free preaching of the Gospel of Christ.

The Father's Heart: Ministry to Youth and Orphans
Serving the abandoned youth amidst  a godless people is a prophetic statement about the just and merciful nature of our God
Please, note that this work is undergoing certain changes. For more information read our latest prayer letters.

The Father’s Heart is a ministry to reach out to abandoned children in state institutions. Through this work we mobilize Christians to bring the love of God, and the good new of Jesus Christ to the kids through regular visits to state-run orphan homes. Throughout the school year, and during vacation times, we hold Vacation Bible Schools (VBS) -- 2 to 5-day events. Short term missionaries from churches in Wales, UK (and sometimes from the US) regularly join us for this ministry. We also have trained and support a team of volunteers from the local church in Vidin. They visit weekly an orphanage in NW Bulgaria for 2-3 hours of Bible study, worship music and building relationship. We visit other orphan homes around the country as well in an effort to promote this ministry and build a network of youth workers. We have trained volunteers from various locations and churches in Bulgaria.

Bible Training and Discipleship

This work is meant to provide training and resources to build the faith and commitment of local churches and individual Christians

In 2002 We started a team that teaches the Word, encourages people to follow Christ, and challenges the church to return to God’s New Testament standards. In our day and age of materialism and high-tech idolatry carelessness about the souls of men prevail. This requires that we strengthen the church by solid Spirit-filled and Bible-based teaching and ministry. Our goal is to encourage Bulgarian and Romanian Christians to live a committed life in Christ in a hostile environment. We believe that both growth in character and spiritual gifts can help toward a full maturity in the Lord. This work of encouragement for believers to grow in Christian gifting and character we call a prophetic ministry.

The team travels to local churches to encourage believers and to minister the Word of God. We organize Prophetic Conferences at local churches--usually three days of Bible teaching, prayer and ministry. We also hold Prophetic Schools, usually in Sofia, where believers with stronger interest in growth as disciples of Christ come for a 3-day, 9-session seminar.

Viktor developed a web site in Bulgarian with free resources for Christians who want to grow in their relationship with Jesus. All materials are being produced along the lines of the team's ministry. These are:
-- Bible teaching articles, prophetic insights for the church in the context of the local culture;
-- CDs and MP3's with sermons and Christian music;
-- books;
-- and information about scheduled Prophetic Schools or Conferences.

The core team members are: Stuart, a church leader from Wales; Yavor, a minister from NW Bulgaria; and Viktor. However, we also engage other Christians in volunteering to cover different areas of need for the work.
