Viktor's letter to the Nova Televisia (New Television) TV channel in December. In December this national TV station aired yet another ridiculous show about a group of Christians meeting in downtown Sofia. The show depicted the group as violent and inviting suicide. Vik's letter has been published in the Evangelical newspaper and has caused a stir - in a good sense! No answer form the rogue TV station.
January 16-19 trip around the country. We had meetings in 7 towns around Bulgaria to try to promote our books, the prophetic school and in preparation of the youth worker training seminar which will be held March 24-26th.

Biser advances as a disciple. Biser, a former youth of the Novo Selo orphan home, has grown decisively in the faith. He has joined Yavor's team as they travel weekly to minister to the kids in the homes for youth in both Novo Selo and Belogradchik.
New director in Belogradchik orphanage opposes our work with the kids (Jan 30, 2006). The new director has been giving us trouble. She has recently cancelled Yavor and his teams bi-weekly ministry time with the kids. Her explanation was that she did not like the work we do. It turned out that this lady has no idea of how much we have done in the orphanage. Viktor has writen her a letter reminding her of all we've done to help both the kids and the institution and all the generous people from the US and the UK who have contributed toward the well-being of the orphans. We have given her one month to consider the letter and then we'll meet. We're ready to make noise about this turn of events. It is simply ridiculous to be new on the job and because of prejudice or ignorance to deny the facts and all efforts made by others. Please, pray that we have wisdom and boldness in this situation. The devil knows no rest in this nation.
Sharing about our work on a Christian radio show, Sat., Feb. 4, 2006; (Photos - in the studio and with the radio show team. Go to: http://kmission.netfirms.com/pics/2006-02_radio/page_01.htm. Yavor and I were on an one hour Christian radio show. We talked about our work but specifically about the need of youth in Bulgaria to hear the gospel and about Jesus Christ.
Book published and first copies distributed. Yavor's books of short stories and mine of practical Bible teaching and theology came out of the press late December. We gave away some copies and some sold, did some presentations of the book via internet magazines and a TV and a radio show but sales have not skyrocketed!
Download Yavor's VBS Music - four songs as MP3 from the web. They've been quite popular lately: http://www.download.com/vbsmusic
Teresa shared the gospel with the daughter of a local store owner and she is convicted of her sins. Tsveti is the twenty-seven year old daughter of a local small store owner, and a mother of one child. Teresa has befriended her and the lady is reading the Bible and spiritual books Tes is giving her. She's under conviction all the time and asks many questions. Pray for her soul.
The Boys. Noah was a bit sick in the last weeks. Boys are doing good in homeschool but Matty's quite slow with his times tables! Pray for him. Both continue to enjoy drawing classes, Bulgarian language lessons and piano.
Coming up soon:
· Prophetic Bible School 3, 24-26 of Feb. Please, pray that the right people will come.
· Feb. 24 Viktor will be giving a lecture to pastors at a PR seminar on how to communicate their freedom of religion and expression to the media. I'll try to have fun with the PowerPoint presentation!
· Team ministry with Yavor and Stuart. Teaching and ministry in gypsy churches in Vesselinovo and Smyadovo, two small towns in NE Bulgaria, on Feb. 27-28. In Plovdiv March 1, for a church service, and possibly the next morning at a pastors' conference. Teresa has a powerful hospitality ministry - running our apartment as a missionary base. Thank God for a faithful wife (Proverbs 31:10-31).
· Online freedom magazine. March 15 will be the publication date of the sixth issue of our quarterly online magazine for freedom of religion and speech "Freedom for All" - the subject is the role of the media for freedom or oppression in the area of these religious and human rights. www.center-religiousfreedom.com all in Bulgarian still, sorry.
We say thank you again for keeping us on your minds and hearts and for you prayers and financial help. God bless you!
Love,
Vik, Tes and the three boys
